We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.

We do not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, or contact information
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers or advertising IDs
  • Usage analytics or behavioral data
  • Audio recordings
  • Payment information (purchases handled by Apple)

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following information is stored only on your device and never transmitted:

  • Child profile names (optional, entered by you)
  • Practice session history
  • Word mastery progress
  • Custom word lists
  • App preferences

This data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and remains on your device. It is not synced to iCloud and is not accessible to us.

Speech Recognition

The app uses Apple's on-device Speech Recognition framework to help children practice pronunciation.

  • All speech processing occurs locally on your device
  • No audio is recorded or stored
  • No audio is transmitted to our servers or third parties
  • Speech recognition is entirely optional

Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

  • Microphone Access: Required only if you choose to use speech recognition features. You can decline and still use all other features.
  • Speech Recognition: Required only if you choose to use pronunciation practice. You can decline and still use all other features.

Both permissions are optional. The app functions fully without them.

Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services. The app does not contain ads.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

This app is designed for children and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
  • All data remains on the device
  • No account creation or registration required
  • No social features or communication with other users

Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • You can delete all app data by deleting the app from your device
  • You can delete individual child profiles within the app settings
  • We cannot access or recover your data

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
